Regardless what you feel about Katie Britt, SNL absolutely sucks!! Liberal agenda, not funny at any level!! Nowhere near what it was in the late 70’s and early 80’s……
On the political side, Alabama just cant win, we get labeled “backward bunch of hicks” we always elected old men that stereotype the southern political version on the KKK, the one time Alabama elects a young white female as a senator and she not only gets bashed by the liberal national media but down home Alabama people don't like her either. Im not a huge Britt fan, but when compared to the dumbass women in congress,(Pelosi, Kamala, AOC, ex.) I’ll take her any day of the week. No politician is going to check all the boxes

I think the SNL actor that played the part was more authentic than Britt and less dramatic. She's kind of a popular actress that a few people might know about. I'm almost completely out of touch these days but I knew who Scarlett is. I honestly didn't know it was her because all I saw was the skit posted to YouTube. The worst was when I was trying to show someone the skit yesterday and we were 45 seconds in before I realized I had actually pulled up Britt's speech instead of the skit. We were already laughing before we realized it was actually Britt.
