Whatever she was attempting to achieve…..she failed at it. Too long and impossibly hard to watch. Trump chooses her and he’s toast. I’ll be the first to say that she has no chance of an acting career being in her future. It was bad enough that she might’ve just lost the election for the republicans last night. The delivery was that pathetic and fake, and women that watched it are now asking, “was that really the best that the Republican Party can put forward”. Who in the heck picked her to give it???

Very fake delivery of a speech

Yes, she came across as a little bit of a dramatic actress, but If the goal was to reach out to young women and married women it may have been an effective approach. Especially with women that may have been on the fence. She ain't never going to appeal to liberal, pro-abortion, purple haired democrats.

Right idea, right words. Wrong person, wrong delivery. Female, Pretty and young good. Melodrama and fake tears bad.

The sound bites from her speech that they played on the radio were hard to listen to. Can’t imagine listening to the entire thing. Hopefully this just ended any chance at a higher office for her.

Just got a woman's perspective from my wife. She wondered where the fire and fist pounding was she showed when campaigning for Senate. My Mrs. wasn't impressed .

I didn’t watch but the bimbo hasn’t even been a politician but for what 2 years? She hasn’t had a chance to fully hone her sleeze. What were they thinking putting her up there. Let Ted Cruz or Rand Paul do it. Who makes these stupid decisions.

She is the fresh young face of the Mitch and RINO party. My guess is that she was put out there as a sacrificial lamb. The RINO's have to choose Trump or forcefully remove Trump, they are in as bad a spot as the Dems. None of their options are ideal right now.

Damn, what do yall want in a politician? You’re not going to find a perfect one. Hell, Trump has a ton of flaws, but is still better than the ass clown up there in DC. If yall hate them all so much, run for office.

Yeah I heard just a min or 2 of sound bites from her this am on the radio. She definitely thinks she’s talking to elementary minded people. But all of those idiots up there do. Everybody in the country is stupid except them. 🙄

Well in their defense, most of the people in this country are stupid. But they are included in that most. If politicians don’t slow down and appeal to emotions, a lot of people don’t connect with them and facts. It’s the same old song they have heard for years. I’m not supporting her, but I see why they chose to deliver a speech that way

But it will appeal to the soccer mommies and we all know how all-important that is. It pains me to see what this once great country has become. Richard Shelby's 40 year ride on the gravy train ended with his hand picked soccer mommy replacement. How fitting.

Even though we are basically the greatest Republic in history, and we have about 350 million people to choose from, every 4 years we have to choose between the less chitty of two people none of us would want to even have a beer with.
