well if they came with the same two wires on each side then that's your problem. I just installed a set of led s from harbour freight and each side came with a different color wire. or maybe your jeep is wired right and your truck is wrong. but I would do an internet search for you trailer connector electrical diagram and then compare the two vehicles with a volt meter and your turn signal on.

Start at the receptacle on the back of the truck with a test light and work your way back. I’m assuming the trailer light connection is a flat 4 prong? ^^^ This ^^^^^ will solve your problem. Use this or a multi-meter to determine when the brake lights lead and the turn signal lead.
