looking for a 22 for dispatching. Tired of toting the rifle.
I've looked at the heritage and the ruger wrangler.
Anybody got a suggestion?

Get the wrangler. Much better pistol than the heritage, IMHO.

I would get the Wrangler. The one that comes with 22lr and mag cylinders.

I've killed a transfer truck load of critters with a $100 heritage. The Ruger would be a nicer pistol.

CDNN has Ruger Wranglers for less than $200. The all black one is $169.99.

ended up going with the ruger super wrangler. so far I really like it. I've got a couple coons in traps now and a yote that I've got to go get this afternoon.
and fyi, I always have the 9mm on standby smile
