I would say that well over 95% of the time when my wife is finally READY to go, and I head for the truck she is still 3-4 mins behind me. And it never fails when we get somewhere, it always takes her ~30 seconds to get out of the truck. It isn't like I yell surprise we are here or she is making a quilt or something involved. I don't worry about it & just assume that it is normal.
Last Sat, I said to her, if you get in or out of the truck before me in the next week you can buy a new purse. We usually go to lunch Sat/Sun ~3ish. It usually the same are you ready, her doing 17 other things after her telling me that she it ready, but not that afternoon. I saw what she was doing. She got all of her things together, snuck to the door, put on her shoe and said "Lets go to lunch" and out she went. I saw her but she was still quicker than I expected. Being as cheap & competitive as I am, I was right behind her. My shoes stay in the garage and she was quickly moving to the truck. On this day some how her side was locked, and stayed that way until I got to the truck.
As she was opening her door I said: "NO PURSE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't fool me. I knew when you were being all quiet & sneaky, shuffling about that you were up to something."

It usually depends on who is locking the door as to who is last to the vehicle. I am usually last to get out, but I don't carry everything in my pockets to just be able to jump out and go.

There have been times when I got out, went in the store, bought what needed to be bought and she is just stepping out of the car when I am walking out of the store.

I open the door for mine so she has the time for me to get around the car.

Never once. Also, she waits till I lay down to sleep before going through the series of procedures for her to go to bed. Lights on teeth, makeup, hair, etc. I've even tried to fake her off a time or two but they can sense it's a trap and somehow it still happens. Craziest thing I've ever seen. Yep. She says "You ready to go to bed?". I say yeah and stand up and the next thing I know she in the kitchen worrying with stuff and then she goes in the laundry room and starts a load of clothes. Then she goes out in the back yard to make sure the dogs have food and water (even though that was taken care of hours ago). I'm just left standing there at the base of the stairs contemplating what "Are you ready to go to bed" really means.
