I haven’t found anything that beats a lounger chair for comfort in use without a tree. Using on a tree, there’s stools and innertube cushions. Then again, I have lumbar plates and screws, disc issues, arthritis, etc….so lots of minimalist stuff just doesn’t work for me. I’ve had most of the seat/framed vests available, and I’d rather my vest/pack/belt NOT be attached to my chair/stool. It’s a PITA to access anything in the rear of a vest/chair combo once seated. I like throwing down my seat, and laying my calls out for access, then just throwing it all back on for the jump. Just me.

But I almost never use them for turkey hunting, they are a pita to carry around.

I’ve got one of the original bucklick creek vests I’d sell or trade. It’s before bass pro bought them.
