Using an internet inflation calculator. That same fix today should cost $247.50.

A fix of fentanyl, from what little internet research I have done, says it costs between $2 and $10 per fix.

So why are groceries so damn expensive?

Your bill should say: $10.00 for fentanyl and $990.00 for those that don't pay their bills.

From what I understood, a fix of heroin can last 12 hours. A fix of fentanyl, lasts 4 hours. Those blue fentenal pills, users are can take up to 100 a day. Just smoking them all day long. Also, has to be cheaper to make drugs that do not have a natural base. Heroin depends on the poppy plant that's grown in Afganistan and Mexico. Fentenyl is just from factories.

I watched a you tube video two nights ago about certain California, Oregon, NY , Philly streets, avenues and blvds being overrun with fentanyl addicts who are receiving free or very low cost pills and powders of it from Mexican cartel distributors . Walking living zombies.... crime is through the roof.... the Police and Paramedics patrol all day up and down looking for addicts flagging them down pointing to dead addicts on the sidewalk.... some were deceased for a couple of days before being found or reported....

Now they're finding "xylazine" a large-animal tranquilizer not approved for human use mixed with Fentanyl ...

I just had surgery on Wed including an overnight stay I know I’m going to owe a ton out of pocket because of my insurance and deductible. I plan on asking for a line item invoice not sure they do that but sure will be interested to see what all I was given and it’s cost.

I’m not positive what hospitals charge for fentanyl, but it’s not anywhere near $1000. Hospital cost is something like 50 cents for a 100 mcg dose.

They do that here too, but you usually have to dig through the big double paged statement from the insurance company to figure out which table it is. Then you go online to figure out what the abbreviations or codes mean.
