Well stopped in my first one today. Gas in Chattanooga tn was 269 . 25 miles or so down I75 south was the bucees. Gas was 309 a gallon 40 cents higher and I bet there was at least 100 cars trying to get gas. Parking lot was full of people buying stuff inside. Every body had stuff in their hands. Store was clean and well stocked. Went on line to see about bucees stock . It’s privately owned by a guy worth 1.2 billion dollars

I have one a few exits down in Auburn and like it. I wouldn’t go too far out of my way to one but they have some good stuff and it’s always very clean. Seems I read somewhere they have the worlds longest car wash at a location in Texas.

I’ve only stopped at one of them and didn’t see the appeal. I doubt I ever stop at one again.

Stopped at Athens/Hntsvlle and Auburn one a few times. They are clean and have some decent snacks and food. But wasn't overly impressed. I would stop again if I am in area and need fuel or refreshments but not going outta my way to get to one.

Same with me. I stopped at my first Buc-ees twenty years ago outside of San Antonio and have been a fan ever since then. Mighty fine place to stop when traveling.

Meh they are anti truck drivers, I bobtailed to the one in Leeds and had someone run out and tell me to park in the side street. I figured someone else would appreciate my business.

My wife thinks they are the greatest thing since the Super Wal-Mart, every time we go to Auburn or Orange Beach she wants to shop there.

I typically just like the gas prices, clean restrooms, jerky, and fountain drinks.

Straycat approves this message. Publix is awesome but a distant second when comparing pit stop needs!

Where else can you get a deer feeder, fill up, saltwater taffee, and a wide assortment of jerky in one stop ?

I've never been to one. They always look crowded and I don't care for people all that much.

I'm not a fan of crowds either. But Bucee's is worth it. At least the first few times you go, anyhow. It's the epitome of Capitalism and they have some unique items in there.

They are expanding that one (Luling) to be the world's largest Bucees.

Been to the one in Athens and one in north Ga. That being said, I doubt that I will fight the traffic in/out again. The sandwich's are good but expensive
