My friends are junior members so basically when I’m in town we will go to grab drinks and appetizers really. I have been to multiple weddings and all there. No complaints here and have enjoyed myself there. The food at the weddings was pretty solid.

We had our wedding reception there back in ‘02 and were members until my wife moved her business from downtown B’ham to Trussville. The orange rolls are great and the bartenders know how to pour a drink.

I go up some it's been up and down over the years. It's nice to have as an option. It's similar to being social members at a Country Club without the cost there is no monthly minimum just the annual fee. The restaurant downstairs is never crowded and is also up/down but lately it's been top notch food has been really good. Patio is good. Typical food on a typical night is average at best IMO but again there is no monthly minimum. You can do Easter lunch, get the kids picture with Santa...all that type thing.
I use it just enough to think it's worth it. Not really any more or less.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Just curious what people thoughts were that frequented the place. I been there a few time for functions that I was invited to. Thought the food was ok... view was nice... and enjoyed the fact that it wasnt overcrowded. A few times for events like you and have similar thoughts as you.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

ate there a lot when I was younger. We had our rehearsal party there in 78' or so.

The downstairs restaurant is top notch. The more casual food at the Grill/patio/bar is pretty good, and you have plenty of room. We go up there to meet friends on the patio or watch a ball game in the Grill pretty often. The original restaurant (with the Saturday Night Fever disco floor) is a little loud for me. I'm not a big fan of most of their buffet food, but, as someone mentioned, 4th of July and NY Eve are both popular. Great place for rehearsal dinners or receptions if you don't wont to pay for CC membership. We've been members for 10 years or more, and both our 30 year old +/- children have joined as junior members, and feel like they get their money's worth.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

You can tell Lee I appreciate him buying last time as I’ll get the next round! 😂
