Glad I left AT&T a few years ago. One of the best decisions I ever made for our home.

I am off the northeast Atlantic coast and my phone along with my families back in Bama went to SOS. The strange thing is that those of us affected onboard could not log our phones onto the Starlink wifi we have onboard. So whatever they did to stop our phones from connecting to any cell towers it also effected our connection to Starlink.

I received a message on my moultrie mobile app stating att was experiencing issues. I have Verizon and never experienced an outage

Screwed up my whole day try to get people to job sites and burned about 300 dollars in fuel running all over the country trying to find everyone. Freaking technology. Then my neighbor had an emergency with his property catching fire and he couldn’t get in touch with hardly anyone

Their outage was more than just cell phones - it actually caused many SIP service providers (non-ATT) to have issues as well as the DNS resolution was disrupted.

Big brother is watching and controlling us . Never thought it would be a cell phone company . Better keep cash at home . What if all cell an internet went down for a month . How many would make it? There be shootings at the door of the banks a grocery stores . Too many folks depend on this handheld devil

Before cell phones AT&T was helping the FBI tap phone lines, it was their technology to begin with and they started spying the moment they invented telephones. Ma Bell has been spying on us since they installed the first telephone lines. The switchboard operator women knew the dirt on everybody back in the day. Remember party lines?

You might be right Gomer. I’m so ready to cast a vote tomorrow and hopefully be done with the spam texts and calls. Having an early primary date is starting to be really not cool.

AT&T is now saying it was a software update error. But it also affected companies not directly connected to AT&T so it was likely a hack. Whoever did the hack did a good job of hiding their tracks which makes me think the AT&T part of the hack was just a distraction or a method to open a door for another attack on another company.
The old bank robber trick of creating a big commotion on one side of town to occupy the police while the bad guys rob the bank on the other side of town.

Was listening to a guy that said there was a hack done couple years ago that went deep into infrastructure software and can’t remember the name of hack they named but said that basically the whole software would have to be replaced and this is still the results of that attack because it would be a major undertaking to replace the software. Said att won’t admit their firewall is useless and seems he was right. Be interesting if it happens again soon to show them now what u gonna say.

Just found out work is about to provide us with phones. Great just another way to monitor us I figure and something else to have to keep up with 😬

I know u probably have no choice and probably already know but watch what u do and say on them company issued phones.

Just treat the work phone like its at the office. You do not have access to it when you are not on the clock. A friend of mine has recorded message for his work phone that says please leave a message and I will return your call between 8 and 5 Mon thru Friday. He cuts it off at 500pm and turns it on at 800am. When he is not on the clock the work phone stays in locked drawer.

yea I’ve already thought about that. I’m going have watch myself for sure really wish I could turn it down. They said it was so pts quit calling us after hours when we are not on call. Yea right that’s BS
