Do you all spray your garden areas to kill all growth in preparation for planting?

If so, what do you use and how early do you spray?

No, that's killing all the soil nutrients. Killing the biome.

Two weeks and a good rain..and I’d only use Amine formulations of 2,4-d

I’m spraying mine tomorrow. Let it die and rot. Part of my reasoning behind this is to let sunlight hit the soil and try to dry it out some. Once it dries out some, I turn it once, spray again then turn again. Wait a week or so then level and I’m ready to plant. Some folks may not do it like this, but I find that it helps me because my garden stays so wet.
