The SUV patrol vehicle was hit many times, but the guy handcuffed in the backseat was not hit.

This is a training issue, at least in part. He should have been put in stressor situations with loud noises, to prevent just this kind of thing from happening.

It happened in Fort Walton Beach, these were county deputies not City cops.

I saw the videos on YouTube. He claimed that he heard a muffled gunshot come from the guy in handcuffs inside the vehicle. They patted him down and cuffed him just minutes before this fiasco. Yelled “I’m hit!” Rolled and started blasting the back glass out of the cruiser. He lost his job but the female officer didn’t. They found that her firing into the vehicle was justified because she believed the other officer has been shot.

The guy cuffed in the back seat bent over and prayed during the shooting. He did not have a weapon.

Sad thing is some other law enforcement agency will hire him it happens all the time one looses his job for being stupid and gets another law job in days because they are brothers and stick together
