Drove up 431 yesterday evening, and the Burger King in Boaz was pitch black dark inside and no cars in the parking lot. Anyone know why it closed? Popeyes in Boaz and Albertville both closed a year or so ago.

Every Burger King I’ve seen recently is closed down. Had to go to grandview hospital other day so I was gonna grab something quick before going and the Burger King on hwy 280 was closed.

I haven't driven by the one in Albertville in quite some time, but I'll be shocked if it's closed. That place might as well just print money. It's always packed.

So I knew the guy that owned around two hundred BKs over the place. He started out sweeping floors at a McDonalds in California. They also owed a bunch of Popeye’s too. Usually next door to each other. Multi, multi, multi millionaire. Last time I saw him he had just bought a plane to be able to visit and check on all the stores and was in great spirits. He got upside down on the loans during COVID, went through a divorce, got into the bottle and ended up in rehab. He passed away “unexpectedly” a couple of years ago. Company went into bankruptcy from what I understand.

Regarding the BK in A'ville, that's a true story. Dang, what a way to leave from here.

Poor management. Stick with what got you there burgers and fries. It’s simple.

The one in Locust Fork closed too. Its only been open 5yrs or so Dang, that one was pretty new. Lately, every BK I’ve tried going to has taken to long and I just leave.

I was told the building owner raised the rent so the renter pulled out. Which seems odd to me. Its a burger king, its not like they can find a different renter next week.
