deadeye what did you switch to and what had you been using? I have been using dry cat food with one large marshmellow cut up on top. I alway use Surfin & Turfin dry cat food I switch as a trial run to Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and will report on its effectiveness in the coming days

Apparently mice like the cereal so much they eat it all before coons come to dinner
Had 1 big boar coon this morning and had to remake a ground set that had been disturbed

Up to 8 coons. Not seeing anymore on camera, bvut I'll leave them for another week or so and then pull for turkey season.

I am encouraged by all of the posts. One of the members on our lease has trapped 18 coons since the end of deer season! I have not done so well this year. What do some of y'all use to anchor your traps? DPs mainly.

Dry run this morning
Going to swap up on DP bait again
Had to remake 2 ground sets and added side sets to them to catch this fox that likes to play

What do some of y'all use to anchor your traps? DPs mainly. Wolf Fang earth anchors. You will have to buy a driver to put them in. In soft ground you can push them in with your foot and the coons will never move them.
