I hope it lasts. Ain't no way I'd buy anything Chevy or GM with all the transmission problems they've had the past few years.

The math says plus or minus .003 cents per mile advantage IF you choose the additional mileage option.
3,500/100,000 = $.035 per mile for the warranty 4,050/125,000 = $.032 per mile for the warranty
I would guess - the extended warranty is TOTAL miles, not in addition to the original warranty. I typically don't buy any extended warranties - in some cases I've won in other cases I've lost.

Shop it, BIG markups from dealers and it is the same or better. Do not buy thru dealers Yeah you know i got the Wife a 2 year old or so gmc acadia a few year ago, and the guy tried offering me life time bumper to bumper for just a little bit extra. You know it sounds good, but me and the Wife says so hmmmm what's the actual cost on that? It was like 6,300 or so, and we said noooooo nooo we'll pass! Well he kept on saying well i can do dis i can do that, and came down to 2,300!!!! And i was like you know, you're purty damn sorry sob, you could've offer me that and i probably would a bite the hook 🤬

The last 2 trucks I have bought new in 2012 and 2019- GMC Sierra’s. If my memory is correct .I think I paid around $2,500 or so for a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Anything goes wrong on it is on $100 fee. I like the security of being covered and only have if to pay a minimal repair bill.

I found out the hard way that technology, in vehicle WiFi in my case, is not covered under a warranty, at least not with Ford so check about the electronics you speak of.

Before you buy one, make sure to check and see if you can find a shop that will take it. Most aftermarket warranties are a pain to deal with. A lot of shops quit taking them. This

My 2020 Custom 2500 gas - currently at the shop for new transmission. 84k miles. Torque converter. Based off the warranties and average miles per year, I guess chev has only about 70-80k mileage confidence in their shucks No more Chevy POS for me

Never ever ever ever consider wasting your money on a carshield product.
As far as extended factory warranty. The GF bought one for her 2017 Nissan when factory one was about to expire. About a year later she has some issues and takes it into dealer. Took it into dealer and they called couple days later told her what problem was. She said that should be covered under extended warranty. They basicallly told her if she did not have records of every service listed in her owners manual that the warranty was voided. None of this was explained when the extended policy was offered. She had had everything done according to the manual except, the brake fluid was supposed to have been flushed and changed. She did not have that done so even though her problem was engine related, the brake fluid change cancelled out the warranty. There was no refund if she cancelled it. This was Nissan, others may be different.
