I now have a potential of picking up another 64 acres that joins our current lease. Round about how much is liability insurance running these days for a small block of woods like this?

I don’t recall what i pay for 1200 acres, but its cheap, relatively speaking.

Hunting lease liability insurance is cheap for a reason. Read the fine print and know what “rights of subrogation” means. From experience, don’t get comfortable and feel like you are fully protected just because you buy the insurance.

Not very expensive at all. Reasonable especially 64 acres. I had access to one program then there’s Davis Garvin, outdoor Underwriters and others. They’re all pretty comparable. Some may have a little better coverage than others at higher cost.
