Mine was good, I was able to kill to good bucks, a big 5pt point in december and a real nice 8pt yesterday, I lost a good one in MS and missed another one completely in AL. I never complain about a hunting season, just thankful I made it thru safely and enjoyed the journey with my friends along the way.....

Very good year for me. Had some decent bucks on cam, foodplots did well despite the early drought, my 16 YO showed a good bit of interest and killed 3 (doubling what he's ever killed), I saw 2 of our bigger target deer (wasn't able to get a shot at either), and did kill one of our target older, smaller racked bucks. Didn't get to kill one with my flintlock, but still lots of venison in the freezer and lots of good memories. Trying one last hunt right now before this rain moves in. It's true I'm not as mad at them as I used to be, but Lord, I do love being out in the woods with them and the other critters.

For me, I'd say I had a very blessed season.

Killed a really good 8 point, and a pretty good 9 point on my own farm.

Killed a broken leg doe at my Fayette County property.

Never laid eyes on a deer of any kind at the hunting club.

God gave me the desire, the strength, and the ability to go for another season.

In review, yes, very blessed.

I saw a lot of deer and saw 9 rack bucks on my lease. Not talking about spikes and 3 pts either.

Pretty good season, saw deer almost every sit, killed a nice buck in GA at my cousins, shot a spike on Perdido for freezer, and missed a fine one on Red Hills. Learned some new things and saw some new places. Overall a 7/10 season for me.

I killed a really nice 10 point the house two other bucks on public and a giant hog on oakmulgee. My son kill his first deer which was a 10 and a pretty good 8 point.

Pretty good season for us

Good and bad. Deer numbers at my house were noticeably less. My great dane has been roaming a lot and I have pictures of him chasing deer in foodplots, thats likely the cause, and will not be an issue going forward. My other place 2 miles away was about normal, had a couple great bucks on camera but my son was not able to seal the deal. This makes 2 seasons since my son has killed a buck, not a huge deal but he is pretty picky for a 12 yo. My foodplots were the worst they have been in probably 20 years, I had been renting a no-til drill but it was rented out, I resorted to throw and mow and it was a disaster.

The best part was my 5yo daughter and my 7yo daughter went with me a bunch this year. My 7 yo killed her first deer (doe) and her first buck (5pt), she was "close" to killing a decent 8 pt a couple times but it just didn't work out.

Now time to set out traps, build a few new shooting houses, and "maybe" buy a small no-till drill if I can find one reasonable.
