Wow! Some evil history…now, doesn’t our government want to know if you grow a garden and what you grow in your garden?????? I thought that was if you sold to the public (truck-crop/farmers’ market) or grew anything labeled exotic, but they may be trying to use the USDA for an intrusion point. In the name of food safety, of course.

Does not surprise me nor does it surprise me that the cannibalism in the camps was covered up as well. Didn't realize some of the names involved either until now. Someof the decisions made about support in WW2 amaze me looking back through the lens of time.

And why did Patton want Russia??? I don't know all the intricate details of any correspondence between Patton and the higher chain of command after WWII, but I would assume that Patton knew that the Russians would be an issue in the future, much like McArthur knew the Chinese would be too. The problem with that kind of thinking is: What are you going to do with a country like that once you have it? It all sounds good on paper until you have to actually administer a country like that. The British learned all that in India. It's a pain in the ass keeping a people under your thumb that don't want to be there. As great as we are, Americans don't have the stomach for that. The majority of us don't have the need or desire to dominate and oppress another civilization. People that do are called Sociopaths.
