I killed 9 “deer this season. The most I’ve ever killed in a single season. I killed 3 whitetail and 3 axis in Texas and killed 3 in Alabama. Also heading back to Sonora April the 18th for the annual turkey/axis hunt.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I almost never shoot over 2-3 by design
2 so far and most unhuntable season w pure crap winds. Last 2-3 weeks been little bettr finally w wind but still swirl fair amount. Good to hav a few 2-3 days straight of non Swirl finally - but last 2 swirls and get same swirling in morning - perfect
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

Got a neighbor up the road from me that has done killed 11 of them. He and his wife have 5 or 6 dogs. They don't feed them processed dog food. He kills deer, has them processed, and feeds his dogs with the deer meat.

I don’t agree with it but it’s a lot cheaper then store bought dog food. And a lot better for them. Raven gets the scraps when I process one but I’m not gonna kill a deer to feed her with, especially in Alabama!! Then it would get expensive for me. That’s some hi dollar deer in Alabama!! Just my opinion

One was 13 does last week one is probably 20 with the majority being 2.5 yr old bucks.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I chunk up the shoulders and neck.....stir fry in Bacon Grease RARE.....feed this to my Boykin.....Puts a BIG GRIN on his face!!
