Been several shows I've listened to

My go to in the mornings is Bob and Tom show is pretty funny and quick witted. Lots of sexually based talk if you our easily offended don’t listen. Tom Arnold and Chick McGhee really make that show. Tom is neurotic but really guides the show along.

The best part of there show now is the 5 to 6 oclock hour before Rick and Bunba get on the air

Good, maybe I will start tuning to that station now.

Dale Jackson sucks too but it's useful for getting up to speed on news

Maybe they were trying to be like Hannity. Thats all he does. REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT

Never had enough patience to listen to their nonsense. Of course I don’t watch the shows where folks are looking for Bigfoot either. To each their own I guess.

The last radio show I listened to was the John boy and Billy show… not sure I know Rick and bubba.

I’m a Christian but dang I tuned into them for entertainment and some laughs in the mornings…..but it got feel like there was going to be an altar call and pass the plate around. IMHO it got to be too much religion for a morning entertainment show….pick a lane.

I have been a casual listener for years, even went to the golden ticket seats once and really enjoyed it. They are a lot like this forum, turned very political with the same old threads in a slightly different flavor. I do them like I do here, when I don't want to listen to them talking politics I change the channel, when I don't want to read another political thread I don't open it. They have been very successful at what they do, all they while maintaining their faith and openly sharing it. While I know and they admit they are not perfect, you can rest assured that if there was some dirt to be slung at them it already would have been.

I actually enjoy the kickoff hour more than the main show, listen every morning on my commute to work. Very little politics during that hour.

I started listening to them after I graduated high school and was driving to trade school, then in mornings driving to work. They were part of my mornings for over 20yrs. I have to say though that in the last couple of years it hasn’t been the same. Seems like they were struggling to have things to talk about and be funny. More guests on the show, more people calling in and talking. Never cared for any of that. Lord forbid if one of them went to a wedding over the wknd. They’d take up 4 segments talking about that. It’ll be a change for me personally but everything comes to an end at some point. I still enjoyed most of it but found myself turning to a music station more than I had in the past.

I never listened to their show. However I went to a wild game dinner at briarwood Presbyterian and Rick Burgess was the speaker. To this day he gave one of the most inspiring messages I’ve heard. This was not long after his young son drowned in their swimming pool and I don’t know how he did it. I have a lot of respect for him just because of that one night.

Hated there radio show but Rick was a powerful speaker and likely had led a lot of folks to the Lord

I read on facebag that in 2025 the show will be “The Rick Burgess Show”. Rick, Speedy, Greg and Adler. I doubt there is any truth to that though. I liked the show early on, but not as much the last few years.

Makes one wonder if Bubba has some health related things going on. I think he has had a couple of serious health concerns in the last couple of years
