I think the .264 is a great caliber. I love my Grendel and my next rifle will probably be a 6.5 PRC. However there is nothing about a 6.5 Creedmoor that impresses me. It does do a good job at killing deer but I’d rather my 308s. I built an AR10 in the Creedmoor years ago but never shot it much. A few years ago I built a 16” 308 upper and set it up to shoot 180s in it. Heck of a woods gun and Texas axis gun. I’m not sure I can tell exactly where that Creedmoor upper is right now. I may have to find it and put it on the market.

If you find that 6.5CM upper let me know and I’ll buy it from you or trade you something you’d get more use out of.

A good friend shot the 338 RUM and his were gutted and slightly skint out when he got to them.
Said he had the darnedest time keeping his scope zeroed.

Got one of those 338 thumpers myself. Had a bolt head that holds the ring to the base break into

I don't think some of y'all understand what I am talking about when I say light for caliber bullets.

6.5 Manbun runs about neck and neck with the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser. The Swedish Mauser has probably killed everything that walks the face of this earth I would not doubt including some Elephants. This is because of the penetration potential of the 6.5 bullets. They have killed tens of thousands of moose in Norway and Sweden. Moose you say? Believe it.

How can this be when y'all can't seem to cleanly kill a whitetail? Answer = Shoot larger bullets. They shoot something around 155 grains at Moose. This is a pretty simple concept.

STOP turning your rifle into pea shooter with your little magic bullets. Shoot 140's and you won't have a problem. If you do continue to have a problem the only explanation is you can't shoot. You suck. Take up Golf and stop shooting does in the ass.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

308 you’ll never need help tracking. It’ll fall in its tracks. Bank it. Orange hat in the dash November through Jan 3st.

If you're a 6.5 Creedmoor fan , must you also use a bidet ?

You people who don't like change are hilarious. It's like you think the gun writers just push made up new concepts to sell to the public, and Hornady, Remington, et al are trying to convince us that a .270 or 30.06 won't kill deer. You crack me up. Would gun advertisers lie??

My buddy shoots a creed he says because it doesn't kick hard and cause his panties to bunch up like the 30:06 does.

100g TTSX @ 3250fps out of a CM would make a fine deer cartridge under 300 yards. If a 6.5 Grendel will kill em with it, the Almighty Creed will killem deader sooner.

Disclaimer: I've never shot a deer with my 6.5CM. However it did smash a coyote Sunday afternoon at 283 yards with a 143g ELD-M. Hard quartering facing, entered mid neck exited mid rib cage about the size of a golf ball.

I have a bleedmoor and shoot light ballistic tips . 🫢 It kills stuff pretty dead
290 lb Mule deer 320 yards -deceased 5 yard track job
270 lb whitetail in Kansas 200 yards - deceased DRT
2 150 lb bucks in bama - deceased DRT
2 does - deceased DRT

I don’t hate or love it . I think I would have gotten the same results from most any deer caliber. A deers “will to live” is nonsense if you shoot it in the heart or lungs . My .02 cents
