Saw a really nice buck this am in reform going to work, he had dropped one side already. I got a good look at him.

He came down with strep Friday, so we took the weekend off from Hunting to sleep and recover.

I think I needed it as much as he did even with him being sick.

Going this afternoon. Gonna see if Mrs. Bamaeyedoc wants to go. She hasn’t been all year. Wind ain’t perfect but maybe gusting enough for us that we will see something interesting despite that.

We only had 1 shooter on camera this summer and he evidently got dead early or preseason by a neighbor or road hunter so we have literally had 0 bucks to hunt this time. It's years like this when you really realize how long deer season is. It's amazing any deer make it through the season. Luckily 3 of our 7 or 8 up and comers are still alive at this point but it's gonna be a slow year next yr as well.

We have 3 2yr old 8s and a 2yr old 6 still alive and some spikes. I guess we are going to just start shooting 3 yr olds cause there aren’t any making it to 4 anymore.

I reckon thisun knows we go to church. He was there 6:10 last sunday morning, Joseph slept in. He went this morning till time to get ready for church. We were at Top of the river when he was out today. Maybe this evening

I think they know too jw, I had one a couple years ago that I got daylight pictures 3 sundays in a row around 11 am, I ended up killing him chasing a doe a few weeks later
