That sounds good too.

If spiritual and you like Phil Robertson then Unashamed is pretty good.

The duck call room is also a goofy funny one at times

I respect the fact that he has made a 180 degree turn around in his life and apparently is sold out for God, but for whatever reason, I'm not a fan of his. Mrs. Irish likes him though and I listen when she has him on Youtube.

She likes Rick and Bubba too. I also respect them for their stance, but not a big fan of them either. I still watch them sometimes when she has their show on Youtube in the mornings.

For more straightforward spiritual listening check out Gospel in Life with Timothy Keller. These are recordings of his sermons, really enjoy his insights.

The Briefing with Al Mohler. It's a daily 25 minute (give or take a couple minutes) look at some daily news items through a Christian world view. It's part of my every day routine.

Theology Roundtable. It’s 2-3 pasters that dive deep into some subjects.

The problem with Podcasts is that any dumbass windowlicker can have one..... so when you think you have learned about something in fact you just made yourself more stupid. I have tried to listen to a lot of them but find they are full of errors in fact.

Too many stupid people out there with some "credentials" that make you think they know what they are talking about... when they don't. Podcasts on History are the absolute worst.

That's my experience with Podcasts. I just listen to Joe Rogan and Dusty Slay. That way you don't get the false sense that you have somehow expanded your knowledge or know something you didn't... it's just entertainment.

I agree... That pretty much sums up the whole entire internet and social media though, whereas the alternative is the established media who we all know, is out and out ball faced lying to you as soon as you flip on the channel. I mainly listen to both for entertainment purposes only and rarely for any facts. For facts I just have to rely on my own research and judgement.

At least with Youtube, internet, podcasts, etc... you have more variety that you can pick and choose from and use your own discretion.

It's kind of the same thing with doctors vs random social medial posts. People now a days would rather listen to some random person's medical advice on the internet than a doctor. Thanks to Covid, hardly anyone trusts doctors or the pharmaceutical community anymore.

It's sad, but the media and the medical community have done it to themselves.
