Steer clear of Tillmans Corner. Nice hotels elsewhere in Mobile or across the bay in Spanish Fort. Fowl River, Dog River and the Delta are all easily accessible from i10.
Its better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in war.

Meaher state park in Spanish Fort has cabins right on the river. Small but safe, nice and clean and no crack heads. The catfish, redfish, osprey and the blue heron are the names of the cabins.

We have a store in Tillman’s corner. Reach out to me with any questions that are not answered in this post. We are within site of exit 15B. No way on gods green earth would I stay here with a boat and stuff in the boat. Probably not even stuff in a vehicle someone could see. I only have one salesman that stay here and the hotels nice but the company outside ain’t. He goes in before dark and comes out after sunrise. It’s a great place to fish over here but I would surely stay elsewhere. Too many homeless and bums running around. There’s a gang of bums out here on bikes. They got different bikes every day with stuff in their hands peddling from one place to another. We literally hire a sherriff every afternoon since time has changed for our employees and customer safety. It sucks to pay them but I’d rather everyone be comfortable. In saying that. Nothing may happen. Like in our moss point location. Guy pouring a slab said yall got an issue here. I said nope. But don’t leave anything out on my word. He did. Two guys stole it about 4:15 the next morning. Jack hammer on a stand. Drug it off using bikes.
What kind of store do you own?

I spend a lot of time on Dauphin island and go to the Lowe’s or Walmart in Tillmans corner and it’s a shucks hole. As others have said, no way I would park my boat around there. Rent my place on Dauphin island for about the same as a hotel room anytime except summer and either keep your boat tied to my dock for fishing the island, or trailer it across the sound each day. https://www.dauphinislandbeachrentals.com/vacation-rentals/bridgeview-cottage/

What kind of store do you own? Yes I would like to know as well. I like supporting local owners when I can.

My wife and I run the safety wearhouse behind boot barn and Aztecas. I married into the family and my wife’s parents own it. Oh ok cool. Used to be Mobile Shoe Hospital right? I’ve bought boots there in the last 5-6 years

I’ve bought boots there in the last 5-6 years Yep yep. We just changed our name to safety wearhouse since we went more work. Pops passed away about four years ago and we got rid of the shoe repair all together. Hard to find a cobbler along with dealing with folks that think they bought 250 dollar plus fake stuff and we tell them it was worth more to put the heel or leather strap on it than the actual item. We have found our niche. Folks buy safety stuff year iaround. Folks got to work. Or most. Now my wife’s aunt still owns the one on airport. They still are mobile shoe hospital but we are all different businesses.
