Had something similar happen in front of my house on 25 woman was squalling about it needing some help and it had 3 broken legs one just hanging by the hair. a buddy saw a stud in that same stretch about a week ago chasing hard. north side of 459 on that big hillside

saw a guy on inverness parkway wiping tears after he ran over a goose. he got out to move it and walk holding it like you would a infant. i laughed for 30 minutes 😂😂

I saw one on 280, just north of 459, laying in the 10' wide grass median between lanes. Whoever it was that hit that one definitely was not holding it's head and petting it. That joker evidently jumped out, pulled the backstraps and cut the head off and drove off. I can just imagine the PETA lovers driving by and seeing that man in action. Big bodied buck too, laying there in the grass, headless, split down the back and straps pulled. LOL.

I saw a huge at least 8 point just standing there watching traffic go by last Friday afternoon, it is rut around here right now.

I want to mow down every goose crossing the road.

When I was stationed in San Diego someone hit a deer on the bridge over Lake Hodges. Backed up traffic on I-15 for miles. We finally get to the bridge and there's this lady holding a nice buck that is obviously paralyzed. We're stuck in traffic and CHIPS shows up on his motorcycle and I ask if he's going to put it out of his misery. He says hell no, if he fires his gun he has to do about 30 pages of paperwork. He called animal control and got on his motorcycle and sped off. About a year later I was hiking around our neighborhood and found one of those deer's sheds. People absolutely have no idea what they're dealing with cradling an injured animal. That buck would occasionally thrash it's head around and I can't believe the lady didn't get gored.

This buck was hit on 9 Jan 2020 just north of Childersburg on 280...would have been a nice buck if he got old.

About 5 years we were headed to Arkansas to go duck hunting. Left Birmingham in a three truck caravan about 7:00 AM. Rolling up I-22 south Jasper and we see a huge buck in the wide ROW chasing two does. We had an F250 with Arkansas plates blow past us about 10 miles before we saw these deer. Once we pass the deer, here comes this same guy on the side of the road coming at us in reverse. About 15 minutes later he blows past us again, this time with deer legs sticking up out of the bed of his truck.

Hell yes. We’ve got a bunch of them nasty bastards that hang around the plant. Been several team members get hurt trying to avoid them when they’re pissed off during nesting season. Was in a management meeting a few years ago an HR told us to make sure we warned our people that nesting season was coming up and to be cautious around them. I spoke up and asked what they were going to do to team member if they rang one’s neck when it came after them. They couldn’t give me an answer. One of them comes at me I’m grabbing it by the neck and bouncing its ass off the concrete.

Came up on one like that asked the lady if she needed anything and did I need to finish it off she said no her husband was on his way to get the deer 😂😂😂

Get a green laser pointer and you will see a goose fly like someone has a shotgun shooting at them. You’ll thank me later! It’s best at low light for better results.

I was in the same traffic jam. When I got next to the lady and the deer there was also a cop car on the right side of the interstate. Not sure what they did but the deer was gone the next time I drove by.

Another story: long time ago went to meet my girlfriend’s older brother and have dinner with their family. He had a big Buck mounted in the den. Told me an elaborate story about how he hunted and killed the deer. Later found out from the girlfriend that he actually witnessed a lady run over it and kill it. No one else wanted it so he took it and got it mounted. No idea why you would lie about something like that. It was a nice one. If I remember correctly he lived around Tannehill.
