Any suggestions on upgraded feeders for next year? Currently running many Moultrie timed feeders and had horrible luck keep them operational this year. Eating batteries, inconsistent with lots of clogs with clean corn, motor failures etc. Looking for a better quality timer feeder that I can count on working.

Thanks!

All Seasons and Lamco have been great for me. Stand & Fill on both, 1 @ 300 lbs, 1@ 600 lbs.

They lied to me because I knew of 2 other people having the same issue that had contacted them and she told me first time she’d ever heard of the issue and they were baffled. I got it addressed with some tweaking and customizations and a lot of coon trapping finally on my own with zero suggestions from them…they just wanted to send me a new controller but I knew that wasn’t the issue. Looking back I guess I should have let them send me one so I had a spare!

Moultrie and most other feeders at the big box stores are a joke! The guys in Texas use the good stuff and run on 12v batteries. Look into Texas feeders if you want to get serious about feeders

I should add I’ve got 2 of the game winner 720lb no hassle and 1 bucees. Had them all out for 2 seasons. No issues with the game winner aside from one clog which wasn’t their fault and the bucees quit spinning and I had to pull off the motor and soak it with penetrating oil. Got it back going no issues since. Probably something that needs to be done anyways if you’re leaving them out all the time. Since fixing the lucky buck it’s been great I just wouldn’t get another one because of the way it was handled. Plus they’re a few hundred more than the others.

I have a moultrie over 10 years old. Solar panel on it, same motor. Did have to change timer but no biggie. Batteries are lasting 3 years

Keep in mind Texas has been feeding for several years I think the Texas based companies have figured it out and have better products, I use All Season feeders I think Lamco, Texas feeders and the others are a lot better made for the long run then box store crap

I bought one of these ForEverLast feeders for my back yard a year ago, and it has been worry-free. Texas based company, and lots cheaper than many of the others. They do make the same feeder in a 600 lb model, but since I have it in my back yard, I didn't see the need to spend the extra money....
