Thoughts, are these pretty good? I'm more of a single pole, casting jig fisherman but I like a very sensitive rod.

Ive always used them el cheapo shakespear microlites and berkley cherrywoods…ive never read too much into nice rods. Walmart had a real nice 6ft fenwick i been wantin to try..ive always used 5.5ft or less on account of bridges..acc has a 6ft tennessee handle id like to try too.

I’m not no crappie expert but I’ve caught a few over the years. By a few I mean thousands lol. I’ve tried a lot of different rods. Casting, shooting docks, slip float fishing. That’s my main three, jigs only 99% of the time.

Acc crappie sticks, Huckabe rods, piles of b&m, H&H and other brands. But at the end of the day, then Shakespeare micro rods from Walmart for $20 plus dollars is hard to beat. They really are! Your line will make way more difference than your rod I’ve always felt like. You’ll see the bite before you feel it everytime if you pay attention. Which I’m sure you know that Idot, as you’ve caught your share of em to over the years. They all good rods at the end of the day I feel like.

I’ve got a couple of 6’6” ultralight Lews combos that are limp as a noodle that I absolutely love. Paid $55ish a piece on Amazon.

No. I tried one, didn’t care for it at all. You should try one of my Diawa Procyon rods before you buy. We need to meet up and fish sometime anyway.

I’ve got a 10 footer for vertical fishing, but haven’t used it a whole lot, so I can’t really give you a good review. A guy at work gave it to me for $25, so I reckon he didn’t like it much. lol.

I have a few. They are not bad by any means but in my opinion you wont be blown away compared to other rods. I bought a few of the ones Fur mentioned and have really liked them for jig fishing.

You will never fish with livescope and be talked out of it.

He'll be fishing with me, and I'm not good at using it, so there's hope.

I thought y’all was gonna fish? I think “hooking up” has a different connotation today, kids. 😁

The best crappie rod I've used so far are the duckett crappie slayers. I've caught some big stripe and catfish on the while crappie fishing. I've go a couple 6'6 light action and they are awesome

I have two, 6'6" and 10'. I love mine, super light, comfortable, plenty of backbone. Will probably buy a third, the 8' soon. Like em a whole lot better than my old bill dance combo rig. Haven't fished with all the others so, I can't really say their better or worst.
