I’ve been wondering why cellular operated cameras are even remotely legal in states that don’t allow electronic devices to aid in a hunt. I saw a guy post a picture of a buck he shot on Facebook. He posted that he was in his shop working and his cell trail camera sent him a picture of the buck in a food plot. He got his rifle and went over there and killed it. Yeah, there is a lot of that crap going on. It is illegal here in MO to use electronics to aid hunting. That means cell phones too or radios. So, you cant call your buddy and say, "come over and kill this deer" or "there is a deer in x foodplot" I have all my cameras set to just send pictures 12 times a day to avoid any issues. But, I have heard people say how they knew a deer was coming because their phone buzzed, they looked at the picture, and they got their gun or bow ready. That seeems silly. I get that game cams are here to stay, but I wish they would at least outlaw them on public land. Might as well set up a remote rifle.

He’d took off work and sped to the clubs because he gotta pic of the buck he was hunting. There was a squabble over that ordeal.

Maybe if the drones were made by Moultrie, Spypoint, or Tacticam, would they be legal? If it was made by Tactacam, only half of them would work.....

So what was the setup? Was an undercover the hunter that called or something? Didn’t see that in the horrible article but could be my poor reading skills!! I missed it too. Kinda short on facts.

In states where using technological gadgets to aid in hunting is prohibited, I've been wondering why cell phone controlled cameras are allowed at all. Those people up there have always seemed a little strange.
The people seemed strange? LMAO... A drone and a cell camera aren't in the same league. 99% of the hunters here couldn't get to the area their cam was if they received a pic before the animal was long gone. My cams are scattered over about 400,000 acres
