With it being colder than normal, will they move much and what time you think? I think I’ll just sleep in with the morning cold, and I’m not in Kansas hunting monsters🤔. Got a new place to try, high on a mountain or creek bottoms?

Not on our place in Monroe Co. They don’t move with just a frost on the ground. Look out when it starts to warm up a little.

Last year I went Christmas Eve and it was 11 degrees and killed a big 6

Wednesday will a better day getting above freezing but u never know what a deer will do. I believe they tend to hunker down when it’s real cold.

North Al. will be crunchy or for sure snow covered. The woods will be bright and you will be able to see movement a long ways. Get a early start and go slow roads are covered.

I'll be doing an all day sit so I guess I'll find out.

This is my experience around here, well below freezing, wind blowing deer dont like to move. Now go out and prove me wrong. Its on like donkey kong around here, no telling what might happen. If i had high and low to choose from, i would go low. I would like the chances much better if the sun was out.

God bless you brother! Those days are over for me. Daylight to maybe 11 I can do. But 11-2 I lose my mind!!! Maybe in a shooting house I would do it but in a treestand…..too old for that these days.

I’d go find the thickest stuff you’re comfortable hunting in for tomorrow.
From my experience, I’ll never see anything in the open on the days with a brutal chill. The deer just sit in the thick stuff where it’s warmer. You wouldn’t believe it, but it can be a good 10+ degrees warmer in a pine thicker than in the open. It’s like a big ‘ol thermal blanket.

I usually see em moving after 9am when a big cold hits...

The wind is ridiculous here, no sitting in a tree with it like it is.

Sat in a shooting house this evening with a buddy heater. Wouldn’t have made it long with out it. Wind was brutal. One saw one. I bet tomorrow afternoon will be busy.

Saw bout 20 today and not an antler in sight. Does are getting flighty so won't be long. Just need to get home to watch

Does came out first very skiddiisb kept lookin back in woods then ran with tails flagging, nothin came out which was let for , gona hint for hour in morning that’s it , have a long drive home hopefully move
