Our range has a steel plate shooting game with the ducks that go by and you can knock them down and some spinning rabbits and other steel shapes you can knock down, a lot of fun with a .22. One day we were there knocking them down and a couple young dudes come up and kinda barge their way in next to us. I let them in and they proceeded to go John Wick shooting real fast but not hitting much. My daughter was kinda pissed cause they were being kinda forward and rude. I whispered to her "show them how its done" and she smiles and friggin knocks down 10 rabbits in a row real fast (the Ruger 1022 has a 10 shot clip). I slide her another clip and she repeats but even faster. The dudes just kinda looked and mumbled and ended up leaving haha.

Same with fishing. Females listen to the deckhand and usually do better than males the first time on a charter. Females don’t have the bass mentality to jerk its lips off, instead, just reel. Works was better with circle hooks.

Get my arse kicked my a young lady regularly on the 600 and 1k lines.

My oldest daughter is the same way, she will embarrass you with a pellet rifle.

They do a better job at cleaning the house too

I kid. Youngest daughter can outshoot me easily. Oldest gets buck fever really bad, but has gotten better.

Any Firearm Instructor I've known said that women at the end of Firearms Week in academies end up being better shooters because they don't come in thinking they already know everything, they listen and learn and then do it right, and then most importantly, they practice the way they were taught. The exception to this was the shotguns. They hated the shotguns because of the kick and flinched on every shot.

When I make mine shoot their rifles now and they say Dad its hitting bullseye, you shoot it. I say nope its on and no need to waste ammo. Takes all I can do to outshoot mine now and I pride myself on being a good shot. Now take the scope off or with a scatter gun -got them and ole dad can still pitch up a skoal can with a .22 and show out.

My daughter is hell on a deer I just can’t get her to go anymore. She expects to shoot something if she goes and I realize I’m my own worst enemy.
