Ridge Life OP 14 point R Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 9,387 Northwest Bama	Gonna go down to my preachers wood shop in a couple weeks. We gonna make a day of some wood working on his lathes and machines. Plan on making several strikers out of various types of wood.. I know from my experiences that there are many of combinations, but what types of wood do y’all fancy, as your striker?

crenshawco Booner Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 12,861 Montgomery / Luverne	Dymondwood is probably the most versatile on any surface. I especially like it on aluminum. Black locust or purple heart on slate. Mac ebony or tulipwood on glass. Those are my go to's anyway
