Sometime Sunday, a 14 year old was shot and killed while riding in a car in eufaula. It appears that someone just randomly shot into a passing car.
This morning, my cousin was on her way to work in Ashland . Because of the heavy rain she is traveling about 20 mph and as she meets an approaching car, her driver side window busts and she feels a sting in her neck. Her first assumption is that she hit a mirror or something on the passing car so she stops and looks in her mirror. The other car stops then takes off, she drives to the hospital. Once there she tells them that she believes that some glass from the window cut her, after the doc takes a look he told her that she has been shot.
She certainly realizes that God protected her and is grateful that the bullet didn’t hit any major arteries or anything else.
Both of these events happened in small towns where you would never give much thought to this happening..

Its tough to pay attention for something like that but they are going to FAFO with the wrong vehicle of well armed assholes and that problem will stop for good.

I believe my cousin was shot on her way to work before daybreak, no doubt, I don’t know how you can protect yourself from this.

The fafo is total bs. If anyone was gonna do anything about this it would be taking place in these situations and towns. It's just the way our country is right now. It's very sad but I do believe in my kids life time the only place you will have a chance to be safe is staying at your own place and you will have to protect it with all you have. We are becoming a third world country and it's very sad!

That is rather horrifying. It makes me think all vehicles need bulletproof windows, but then that would also cause problems for different situations.

I don't think we need tougher windows, just tougher leaders and tougher penalties for breaking the law.

Also, more illegals entering the country thanks to Biden and more innocent people getting shot. Coincidence?

99% of the cases I see, the shooter is a perfectly legal American. I finished receiving an order at a local drive-thru Monday night with a G43x in my other hand. I was watching a crowd that was watching me. Last Saturday, the daughter of one of our managers was eating at the Juicy Crab in Montgomery. Another couple, with a small child, was sitting at another table. A gal busted in and started beating the other couple. The staff got the woman and child out of harms way. The second woman and man were sent outside. In a few minutes, shots were ringing out, including the windows of the restaurant. When his daughter left, the man was hanging out of his car window dead, with his blood pooling on the pavement. All involved were legally as American as most of us. I'll leave it to you to guess what else they had in common.

Side note: The restaurant gave his daughter, and others, copies of the footage of their security cameras. This includes the actual shooting that went on outside. I've never heard of this.I would have thought this footage would have been turned over to the authorities.

I wonder if she did something to trigger them, like leaving her brights. It’s certainly concerning if it was just totally random. Those are the things that you can not protect yourself from.
