Thanks for all the replies.
Heavyshot, I never trusted bearing buddies, I didn’t figure they had enough force on that spring to push grease all the way to the back bearing, but I have to admit, it’s starting to look like a good option. Knowing that you use them makes me more confident in them.
2Dogs, I didn’t realize it was a drive in, until I had already broken the eze out. I got to looking at the others and noticed that there were no flat sides for a wrench.
Thanks again for all the suggestions. It’s become personal now. I ain’t leaving that SOG in there. Well I might but I’m still mad at it and still have the will to win. I’m getting less mad as the days go by though. LOL
There isn’t enough room around the zerk to drill small holes. It isn’t in the center of the axle it’s offset to one side.
I love the idea of using liquid nitrogen but not sure how I’d do that without risking fracturing the spindle. It’s so much easier to work on big axles I’m use to that now. These piddle little boat trailer axles are too small.
I may end up trying the carbide drill bit. Maybe I can get that done without sticking the broke piece through my hand. Because I know I’m going to break it.
There can’t be more than 1/8” of eze out on there. I thought about that, this morning. If I have enough threads past the castle but to do this, I’m gonna just cut the end off the whole spindle. That’ll show it!

Question for you Fur, what kind of Easy-out is it? The kind that drives in? Or is it a spiral easy-out?

What about a tiny flat bit on an impact driver. Maybe tap with a hammer while using impact also. Vibration might help

Probably not relevant on this but, I have a set of left hand bits that I have got a few broken bolts out with. They spin CCW and when they catch, voila.
Left handed drill won't work on a spiral easy out. It'll make it tighter .

Good Idee on cutting it off. If you have enough , put the nut on , positioned where you want it . Use it for a guide for the cut , then when you back it off it'll clean up any rolled treads.

Might try to heat it one more time to as hot as you are comfortable with. Have cold wet rag on standby, once heated, take the cool wet rag and try to cool just on the EO. Take good decent punch and attempt to move or fracture the EO. I have used this method of heat and contract successfully on taps etc

I thought with all the drilling that I've done that it might catch and spin it out, but it hasn't. It's a 3/32'ish eze out. It would be mighty hard for me to get a punch ahold of it. I think if I'm going to get it out, it's going to take a torch, or cutting the end of the spindle off. It I wasn't so dammed hard headed, I'd just put a bearing buddy on it as suggested and that's what I will likely do, but I hate being whipped by an inanimate object.

Hammer natty lights and Aldeer work crew to either fix it or break it beyond repair. While I appreciate the sentiment, I don't need Natty lights or anyone's help to tear up anything beyond repair. I've been doing that since I was a young un.

EDM, carbide endmill or carbide drill are all capable of removing your ease out. But to do that you're going to have to remove the whole thing and put it on a mill. I kinda like Hevishots idea myself. His idea is definitely gaining traction in my head.

I’d put a couple of dots of weld on it, build it up a little. Then tack a washer (on the inside hole of the washer) to the weld build up. Then weld a nut to the washer. The heat should loosen it up, then you should be able to turn it out with the nut.
