I work in the Sex Offender unit at our Sheriff’s Office. We oversee 325 in our county. The SORNA law, which is the statue that sex offenders are adjudicated under is extremely complex in nature and covers everything from rape to urinating in public. We oversee the location where they live, where they can work etc. We are a very busy unit in our SO.

Then there is the female teachers that have sex with a kid under 16 and do not get put on the sex offender list just because they have beauty queen looks. I've got one of those teachers on the registry living 400 yards from me. Is she hot? Heck if I know. Her name is Ashley Pruitt if you want to Google her….. I’m sure theres a lot of reading material about it.

5. One across the street and 2 doors down. I live on a very busy road, so that's as good as miles away. But we never let our girl in the front yard or driveway regardless. I was more worried about what was behind me. There are 4 in the neighborhood behind me, very large neighborhood, surprised there weren't more. I live on top of a mountain and have privacy fences on multiple sides, so not too worried about them either.
I wish that list gave details on if victims were Children or Adults and how old the offenders where when they committed the crime. I'd not be too worried about an 18 year old that messed around with a 16yo and the parents prosecuted. But the rest I kinda want to know to be more aware. There's one a few miles from me that was 18. Girlfriend was 15. He did 12 years. He either had quite a criminal history or a piss poor lawyer.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

26 in a 5 mile radius and I'm out in the county.
Looked at some details. One guy was arrested in 2002 for raping a 15 year old and arrested 2 years later for rape and sodomy. Why they getting so many chances?

I have 8 within 5 miles of my house. I know of 1 in Clayton who wears a holstered colt on his hip at all times. I didn’t think you could own a pistol if you were a sex offender? A convicted felon cannot have a firearm. Some sex offender violations are misdemeanors.

If and when I get some kind of terminal end of life illness those dots will start disappearing. The ones that rape and assaulted children are gone

Just please don't tell me about it so I won't be wrestling with a moral dilemma. Sometimes ignorance is bliss but there are thousands of victims that would thank you for your service.
