I was making this post for the ones who want to fight for Alabama cancer patients. The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commissioner keeps dragging their feet and delaying licenses to distribute.

My friend has been one of the lead fighters in getting these laws changed for the patients. My mother is a two time cancer survivor and has never even seen marijuana before. She was so desperate, she was willing to try cannabis here in Alabama but it wasn't legal so she suffered and went without.

On behalf of all the cancer patients wanting to fight these ridiculous laws, please email our commissioner. To allow legal medical marijuana for those who want it.

I don't believe in it far as way the state is doing it but it's coming I have no choice. unfortunately

Honestly if she needs it there are supposed to be reputable companies online selling Delta 8 and 9 you can order to your doorstep and not made in China if you do your research...

X2. I've got several friends that are doing those gummies and stuff all the time. I've got no use for it, but apparently it's readily available.

They have managed to turn something so simple into a cash cow for their donors and now they are squabbling about which of their croneys get to hit the jackpot. Also only legalized the most expensive and least effective ways to use it further padding their donors pockets. This won’t hurt the street vendors one bit. But screws the people who need it. I don’t think pot suppositories will be much of a hit

I had one of the finest most ethical police officers I ever worked with tell me one day when I was letting him cry about watching his mother die from cancer and wasting away from not eating that he would go to the corner in uniform, himself and buy her some to help her appetite if he thought she would smoke it. He meant it too. I have no problems with medical MJ until it starts being prescribed for dubious reasons. If it helps cancer patients, seizure patients, and PTSD vets, then give it to them.

I haven’t met anybody that opposes it for legitimate medical reasons.

Just a side note...do some research on ptsd and mushroom treatments. Shawn Ryan has talked about it. Apparantly has helped a lot of real ptsd sufferers.

I had heard recently they were being sued. I’m assuming over the corruption in how people were picked. And had agreed to open it back up if the lawsuits were dropped if I remember correctly

Its the same exact process with the proposed lottery and legalized non-creek casino gambling. Its not about what the people want, its about who gets the money.
Alabama has the most ear-marked state budget of any other state for a reason. Its because Alabama politicians have a long history of stealing from tax payers to enrich themselves. Its so bad, that it is now considered a normal part of business.
We want nice things but we have to protect those nice things from the very people who allow us to have those things.

Oklahoma, easily one of the reddest if not the reddest state in the country quietly decriminalized all drugs including personal amounts of hard drugs like cocaine, heroin, and meth in 2017. Interesting that no one really talks about it much. I would like to hear if it's considered a net positive or negative. I really don't think the government has any role in regulating or criminalizing something like cannabis especially when that same government in Alabama literally sells every drop of alcohol consumed in the state.

Heartbreaking to hear stories like Jawbone's, the government has no right to interfere in someone's life like that in the best of times, more so when they are literally dying from cancer.

That’s horrible advice. Just go get the good stuff and do it. You have no idea what those dot heads put in that delta 8 crap. There are ways to get what you really need

Don’t buy the gas station D8. It definitely came from China. Order it online from a reputable company or go to a legit CBD store.

Stay away from Delta 8. I related an experience I had with it by accident when I thought it was CBD. I got banned here for a week because of it, still not sure why, but oh well. Let's just say it ended up with an ER visit and probably the strangest experience I have had and I've had quite a few "experiences" in my time. The good ol unintended consequences of letting the gubbamint tell you what you can and can't ingest. I got no incentive to tell anything but the truth. The gubbamint, not so much.

No, that was done sober as a judge! My Delta 8 fiasco was about a year and a half ago or more.
