Has anyone ever had a run in with the warden on this? Do they go by the time off the forecast? Anxious to know what my neighbor gets charged with/for. See the warden rolling up to his listening spot, he been getting some complaints.

Depends... what critter?
For deer, it's 30min after official sunset time. Today's sunset is posted as 4:47, so legal hunting would end at 5:17pm.
For ducks, it would be 4:47pm.

I do not know anyone personally who has got in trouble for shooting deer after time (except for pure night hunting in the headlights), but I do know some boys that got a pile of tickets for shooting a woodduck hole after posted sunset one day.

One sunset time doesn’t apply to the whole state. Sunset in Heflin is listed as 442pm, sunset in Epes is 455pm. Big difference from east to west across the state.

I just heard a shot a few seconds ago. No way they can see. Probably a road hunter.

If the moon casts a shadow it's time to go home I had a GW tell me this, with a wry grin, a few years ago. He said that because of the advances in optics, that he mainly was looking for obvious violations, not for hunters shooting a "few" minutes past the limit. I think that this is probably the case. Wasn’t it just a few years ago that the standard was 30 minutes after last light?

It changes by a minute or two each day. You can usually find it on your local weather forecast.

99 times out of a 100 if you shoot a buck that late you'll be dissapointed 100% UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING HIM FOR A FEW MINUTES PRIOR (which is probably your 1%)
Georgia Football..Acts like Bama but has a trophy case like South Carolina.
