Mjh97 OP 8 point M Joined: Oct 2019 Posts: 1,497 North al	My oldest son got his first deer the other day, it was a 175 pound 3 point weird rack. He never been into hunting much, never liked to go growing up but every now and again until the last 2 years. So he was out of school for Christmas break and I had pictures of the deer and told him he could shoot it if he wanted to, so I was still asleep cause I don't have to get up early for work and the wife came in and woke me up as usual to get ready and I dozed off for a few minutes and she came back in and woke me again and said I just herd a shot. That kinda surprised me and as I was still groggy I realized Brady was hunting and I told her to grab my phone and of course I missed the call but quickly called him back to hear him overly excited say"dad I busted him" . The excitement of hearing your son call you to say he busted his first deer is a really great thing to experience. So I told him to hang close and don't get down til I got ready and started that way, I gave it 40 minutes after the first call and told him what to do and when I got there he was standing where he shot it with blood everywhere, wasn't a hard track cause he did bust him, blood spay that Ronnie Millsap could have tracked, deer ran about 40 yards and piled up inside the wood line. I really wish my dad was still here to have enjoyed that moment with him cause he would have loved it and Brady would have also

I do to and about 2 months after he died my phone rang and it was his picture and number, messed me up bad and when I answered it on the other end was a telemarketer and I let him have it in a not so Christian way. I still have texts from dad and mom I never erased.
