I’ve never understood the fascination with John Wayne. I haven’t watched a lot of movies but Clint Eastwood made a lot better stuff. Bull butter! And JW always had better looking gals in his movie, CE had them ole homely gals, with stick figures. I don’t have a favorite I liked em all.

True Grit is mine.
The Quiet Man is really good and some of his best work, a different role for him. Lota experts say he should have won best actor for that one.

The Quiet Man was on TV about every weekend back around the mid 70's it seemed. Maureen O'Hara caused me to develop an unhealthy desire for redheads. Chased after a few and after catching three or four I figured out real quick that was one rodeo I best avoid.
