I have the same gun. With handload 140gr sgk it will shoot 3/8" at 100 yards all day. Yeah never had any issues killed a pile of deer just getting to a single caliber ammo

Rem worst nightmare cheaply made to compete in low in market I’m sure that’s the case for some folks. I’ve read all the horrible reviews. But I have owned two and both have been tack drivers and I’ve never had a single lick of trouble or quirk out of mine. Just been lucky I suppose.

It was like $300 for the gun, scope and box of cartridges from wal mart. I was 18 years old and it was in my price range. Been a truck load of deer and coyotes killed with it. It stays in the tractor year around now. They cheap but dependable accurate guns. Imo

I have one and love mine chambered in 30-06. I never had any trouble out of it and it killed everything I wanted it to. I would have bought this one without hesitation just couldn’t get the meet up together.. someone got a great gun at a great price not everyone can afford to spend $1000 on a rifle. A friend has had one in 30.06 for about 20-25 years and it has been a great no frills rifle for him that he doesn't worry about scratching up like his others. At 100 yds the holes usually touch with an occasional loose one. I wish I had seen this in time.
