I’m looking to see if there is a specific single cab Tacoma out there for an older gentleman. Looking for a 1997-1998 Regular Cab 4x4 5 speed 2.7cyl, dark Green. Not sure how close he wants to hang to the year but I know 96-99 and color is a must. What you got.

Just to note a few thing, 95.5-97 was the ones with square head lights and a distributor. Late 97-2000 had dual coil ignition, 01-04 had coil on plug ignition. 98-00 is the face lift from square headlights and digital odometer, 01-04 had another face lift interior changes and tail lights changed also used a mini header style exhaust manifold were the previous years used a cast manifold that was prone to cracking in the middle. 95.5-97 was the only years a 3.4 v6 was an option in the regular cab. The rest in the regular cab would be a 2.7 4cyl 3rz if it was 4wd 2.4 2rz was in the 2wd trucks with the exception being the prerunners. I had 99 same color identical to what your looking for put a lot of miles on that truck before getting rid of it.

Last one I had I sold with 375k and climbing. Had a 97 2wd with 2.7 with485k when it sold still climbing. I have the truck he is looking for but unfortunately he ain’t going to be able to get it
