Hmmmm. You bout to send CNC down a mighty deep Rabbit hole. If I had access to the data I would put together a 575 dozen graphs myself. I always thought/heard that deer move a lot before a front, but per my game camera, the before the front activity doesn't seem to change, but after the front the activity goes sky-high.

High activity after a front. High activity for cold blooded animals before a front. Sorry, but I don't have stats. Deer movement-- through camera and personal observation for 64 years. And deer do move in windy conditions.

My 1st year hunting (6 yrs ago) I did a massive spreadsheet on three game cameras and tracked all data you mentioned including direction they traveled. Major weather drops and barometric pressure changes was noticeable. Also wind speed.

Freestate - Is this data from your cameras or is it a larger data set from Hunt Perfect? Just my cameras on one of my leases. Itβs a really cool web based program. You can actually automate the whole process by having your cell cameras send the photos to hunt perfect

Freestate can you define moderate vs light wind

This kind of stuff really interests me, but I am always cautious of graphs and charts. For instance, in the graph showing movement vs wind speed, you really need a second graph, or at least a reference, to what percentage of the time the wind was light vs moderate. For example, if during the time the camera was used the wind was light 50% of the time and 65% of movement was during light wind, they move almost twice as much during light wind. But if the wind was light 80% of the time and 65% of movement was during light wind, then they move twice as much during moderate wind. I like the graphs but you can make wrong inferences without all the data.

To be fair, the intention is not to have you only hunt according to the data but helps you make a decision when you might should try harder to get in the woods. Itβs helped my sightings tremendously but any data without context is useless

Itβs helped my sightings tremendously but any data without context is useless I understand that entirely. And I wasn't disagreeing with the data or your use of it. Just pointing out a general concept on that kind of stuff. Anything that helps you be more efficient and effective while also giving you more desire to get out there is all good in my book.

So often, what we "think" isn't that accurate. Will look into the hunt perfect site. Sounds interesting.

If you own a newer tactacam itβll do it for you. I run mine based off locations and it lets me know what BP, wind, temp, etc most pics are taken and at what time. Pretty simple to run, pretty cool feature too
We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!
