Thomasville post office hav not sold stamps for 2 weeks - clerk sited reason as the internet is down. Folks complaining about no stamps at church today. Never heard of a post office not being able to sell stamps đ What? They can't get stamps from the PO that brings their mail shipment in everyday? Somebody is selling stamps for cheap in bulk near Thomasville.

Heck with Montgomery, they need to investigate the processing center, or whatever there is in Birmingham. Our business and one other business in town that I know of, had over $150,000 worth of checks stolen, washed, and forged. About the only common thing between the two businesses, is the USPS. They caught some of them, I've talked to the FBI already a out one of them.

Bet the theft is the result of "affirmative action' hiring. It used to be that after WWII it was run almost entirely by Veterans. It was that way when I was kid. Not anymore. The Veterans actually gave a damn about doing an honest job. That has changed.

The FBI needs to be doing the investigation. Not the post office police. I know a former Postal Inspector. They take this chit seriously. Postal inspectors, generally, are no joke. Theyâre good law enforcement. They know their stuff.

Sorry guys, Nothing is going to change. This is probably going to step on some toes and insult someone but every since the post office went to hiring all black workers, they have gone to the pits. Say anything and youâre a racist. Complain and youâre a white elitist. I have an older black postal lady. She is the absolute BEST! She goes out of her way to get my mail and packages to me. She tells me the younger black postal workers are âjust sorryâ Post office knows they are stealing mail, not delivering packages and they cant do anything about it. Itâs the world we live inâŚ..

I would think they would have lots of cameras in the office. Seems that would deter theft knowing they are on video doing it. They sure need to do something. When the thief is the guy who controls the cameras then it makes stealing that much easier.

Even the Postal Service recommends not to mail checks. Unfortunately, it is not always that easy. But for sure, they know they can't trust their employees. Sad times. But hey, mail in voting is SECURE!!!!
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I bet some of the post offices have databases of entire zip codes where the mail in ballots get automatically switched by the quality employees.
