Sucks! I did t get much sleep Friday night. Went to bed early, tonight. Sure was sleeping good when the power went off. I had a lawnmower battery to use with an inverter, until the battery crapped out. I bet I have another one before sunset tomorrow night.

Seems like they would make a battery backup for such times as when there is a long term power outage like after storm damage.

I think it was Jawbone that clued me in to getting a cigarette lighter power cord/adapter to use with a battery jump box for auxiliary power. I haven’t had to use mine yet, but it is my nightstand when needed.

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I bought a Rockpals 300w portable power station that I use while camping. If I run my cpap with the DC power cord I can get a couple nights out of it. It’s also solar chargeable so I can recharge it. Has a few usb ports you can charge devices with. I’ve been very pleased with it. Jackery also makes a good one. 👍🏼

Mine is 15 years old, so I'm sure there are lots of things out there now.

That's probably the route that I'll take.

I'll check it out.

Yep that's my backup. It'll run about a night and 3/4 with a good jump box so keep it charged and you'll be fine. Plus it'll jump you're truck off if you need it too.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Generac kicks on in 30 seconds and I go back to sleep. I never know when it transfers back over.

I may or may not on occasion sneak to the breaker panel at night and shut my buddies breaker off to his camper!! I listen for the cussing and him jumping outa bed and open the door. I switch breaker back on and hide. Dumb bastage still ain’t figured out that I’m doing that. He just thinks the electricity blinks.

I went elk hunting in Idaho this year and was tent camping for a week. I bought a mouthpiece called z-quiet I saw on the book of faces. It was much better than not having my cpap. It would be a good option for loss of power.

If I wake up and my power is off, I just take off my cpap mask and go back to sleep. I can't really tell any difference in quality of sleep.

I bought a used Phillips dream station bipap cheap. They run off 12 volts dc if you get a cord you can clip onto your lawnmower battery for a week without charging

I cannot sleep without my CPAP running. I'll lay there all night and stare at the ceiling.

Yeah, no way I’m going without the cpap. I’ve got a 12Ah battery that will run it two nights easy. Mine doesn’t have the power sucking humidifier which helps a lot. I’ve got the battery in a plastic ammo can with a “cigarette lighter” plug for the cpap’s dc power brick. Basically the same setup I use to power my trail cams and I’ve got extra batteries here at the house.
