Was headed down the foggy state highway at 50mph. See a group of doe up ahead, eating acorns on the opposite side of the road. I roll to a stop as the first medium sized one crosses in front of me. Next one in line has to weigh 150lb. I’m stopped. She doesn’t run straight in front of the car. She runs straight towards the A-pillar, and when she gets to the yellow line she jumps and hits the mirror/A-pillar of the car on the way down. Breaks the mirror and housing of the car. Little dent in the door… can’t have nothing nice

My wife and daughter both have hit deer in last couple months. They everywhere..

My brother has hit three deer in his years of driving.... thats three for three ...two were coming home from deer hunting and one was over in Daphne on a back road coming back to Mobile... I couldn't believe the amount of damage them things can inflict with bone on metal...

It is the truth when I say that more deer have run into the sides of my vehicles than I ever ran into them. I finally got to hunt yesterday (and killed a 10 pt.), then drove back home to TN. Between Selma and Centerville, I bet I saw 100+ deer grazing on the side of the road. Since I've only had my truck back a couple of weeks from the last deer running into the side of it, I was paranoid to say the least. This is another sign of the lack of acorns in the woods this year. There will be a lot of deer/vehicle collisions and a lot of unskilled/unknowledgeable/lazy hunters killing deer off of food plots this season.

I hav had one ram my door before and last week on thanksgiving day hit one n brand new truck n middle of day just outside of thomaston - but i was lucky - we both slid on our breaks and she skid under truck - no damage to new truck - i ran over her leg - hobbled her
