100%. There is no way that a 1 loss SEC champion gets left out if FSU, Texas or Michigan loses. If the committee is honest, Alabama will have a better resume than FSU even if they win. Look at who the team beat and look who they lost to or will lose to if it happens tomorrow.

Get rid of names/conferences and look at the numbers and Bama should be in with a win and will be in with a win and a loss by any of the teams left ahead of them.

They’ve left Bama at 8 for a reason. I agree that should they be in with a win and even better chance if someone loses ahead of Bama…but the committee has been determined to keep Bama out in my opinion which is why I say they won’t get in regardless.

If Texas loses, it will be to a 9-3 team that got smoked by South Alabama and UCF. They would have 2 losses and no conference championship with their only ranked win being Bama. An early win over a 1 loss SEC champion that just knocked off the 2 time NC defending, #1 ranked team in the nation won't be enough.

People seem to expect Saban to do great things every single year. Alabama fans tend to lose sight of the fact that he seems to have a different set of coordinators every year, and obviously a different set of players, and this year is no exception. He has an, albeit talented quarterback, but Milroe still didn't have a lot of experience at the start of the year.

If he can hold on to the coordinators and the players, next year looks more optimistic than this year. I would be surprised if Rees is not gone to a head coaching job at the end of the year though. Which means once again Saban starts another year with a new coordinator.
