Well I have been out here since daylight and haven’t seen anything, hoping this rain gets them on their feet

Same here, but I'm going to be there as the rain quits and try my luck this afternoon.

Got ran out of my first stand due to weather. Jumped in a shooting house and saw a 6 pt, 2 doe yearlings and 2 thunder chickens. Not a lot of activity on my cameras.

We've had one rain since August. Deer are scared of it. They forgot what it was.

That reminds me of a funny story.
We got a new puppy in 2016 when we had the drought.
She was 6 weeks old when we got her in September and was several months old before she ever saw any rain. Being an Australian Shepherd, she’s wired to be a little crazy, but she went absolutely nuts the first time it rained. She had no idea what was happening when I took her outside in the rain. She still hates the rain to this day and doesn’t even like going outside in the morning dew.

Zero activity on cameras this morning also, and not much last night

Settled in for the evening hunt, think I will go buy some cereal rye and spread it on the plot I was in this morning, y’all take a look at from this morning and tell me what yall think. Good luck this evening guys

Yeah I like to hunt, the crazy thing is that I only shoot mature bucks, and don’t shoot does. I always hunt the wind, so I see a good bit of deer, that I shoot with a camera. Hell I fish way more than I hunt.

I'm in a house on a field with my 6.5 grendel. Had some deer on camera this am on the woods.

Glad it rained, that will help move things along field wise.

I'm here for the afternoon. I really pray I can see a deer or more, my sits to sightings ratio is pathetic.

Deer have moved good last few days but nothing this afternoon so far.

Hopper that field should be fine as it fills in more. The rye won’t hurt but they will eat as it is.
