Does anyone on here shadow buy any particular member of Congress in the stock market?

Whatever stock they purchase, do you buy some too?

Members of Congress are getting filthy rich off insider trading, everyone knows that and instead of stopping it, seems like everyone has joined in.

I'm starting to get into it and I was curious to know if anyone on here uses that technique and has it done well so far?

If they couldn’t do that, there would be no more congressmen.

How do you know what the crooks in congress are buying? Didn’t know that was made public.

Yeah it's public , there's a site or two that tracks it. There's a congressman from Cali ( I think Ro Khanna) that makes Paul Pelosi look like a rookie.

There is an app called Autopilot that uses that and others as a basis for its AI generated trades. I'm not sold on it yet but I'm watching.

I would like to know if they are buying stocks or stock options first. I'm curious if they are only reporting the stock purchase when exercising options bought months earlier.

I've seen options listed on at least one of those sites that shows their activity .

I am guessing they must disclose these trades but have a timeframe to do so and they report these trades after they purchase and the stock has moved. So going with old data may not be wise.

The problem is that the people “in the know” (politicians) get in early before the general public even know anything about the stock or the movement of a particular company (insider trading). By the time Average Citizen Joe finds out about it and makes a move, the money to be made has already been made. All you’re doing by buying in is driving the price up, making the elite more money.

Two weeks looks like the reporting time I've seen. Understand these crooks are in cahoots with the corporations through lobbiest and hedgefunds managers. Hedgefund managers manipulate the market, those in the know get rich while we hope foe the best. A lot of info is traded. I emailed Tubbercrap a few weeks ago on this very issue. I'm sure he is working to correct it.

It has happened in Congress before.
The janitor is dumping the cans from the Congressional office building. He finds a letter about a company that looks interesting. He invests $1000 of his hard earned savings into that company. He makes pretty good money and about triples his $1000.
He gets in trouble for Insider Trading, loses his job and gets fined to a serious loss.
The Congressman whose office the letter came from did the same move only with $1.5 million and is continuing to make money today.
Thats how it works.
