For those wanting an AR-15 https://www.primaryarms.com/ar-15/riflesI haven’t seen ARs this cheap in awhile, obviously not Daniel Defense quality however $350 is $350!

Andersons get a lot of hate but I think a lot of it is unfounded. AR’s need to cycle reliably and shoot straight….thats pretty much it. I have abused mine and never had a hiccup.

Anderson receivers are notorious for cracking. I’ve spent the last 20 min googling and cannot find anything about any “common” issues specifically relating to Andersons cracking. There’s a common theme of ANY lowers being prone to damage from people pulling the trigger and dropping the hammer with no upper connected, and I think I found one thread about an Anderson BCG cracking but didn’t see what caused it, but certainly nothing that I’d call “common”

Andersons biggest problem is that I think their Quality Control Dept in the past has been a little lazy about letting out lowers that we’re out of spec and should have never gone out the door to begin with. The ones that are in spec, by all accounts, function just as well as any other one.
