IN MY OPINION, Wearing a nice watch is just being pretentious this day and age. Fixed it for you. I like watches, because: I have always worn one. I'm old fashioned. I like to be on time and know what time it is when I glance at my wrist.. I'm a gearhead and I think all machines are really cool, especially tiny self-winding, precision machines made by excellent craftsmen. If that's pretentious, then that's somebody else's problem.

Thank you for all the pointers and kind comments.
I bought the Tissot watches today. I got a GREAT deal on the purchase from Jomashop.
I have my friend gathering new backs for each so I can have a verse engraved on each one. I'm really looking forward to giving these young men a lifetime of reasons to remember each other and a glimpse into what we see in them.
