Smoking and pulling a pork butt and making dressing with it instead of chicken or turkey. I know I would need to keep fat to a minimum and careful what I seasoned with. Does that sound good or nasty? My bunch keeps shooting down the idea but it’s been eating at me for awhile.

Only dressing I’ve ever had that I’d eat again is seafood dressing.

I've been doing some poking around at recipes myself, and i found a dirty rice cornbread dressing recipe i might try around Christmas...

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

My late MIL could cook, she had 3 dressings for Thanksgiving and Christmas. An oyster dressing, my favorite along with the traditional chicken dressing and a seafood with shrimp and crab meat and old bay seasoning. She said is was some sort of NE tradition.

My wife makes a crawfish dressing that’s really good and I like to put some goblet gravy over it.

I’d imagine a pulled pork dressing served with double smoked ham and turkey would be some kind of good

All dressing is bad if you dry it out. My grandmother makes it and it’s incredible. Nothing special. Just nice and moist. Crispy cornbread mades juicy dressing she would say.
